Jun 3, 2018TAMBURRO YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018, at St. Dominic Church, 77 E. Lucius Ave., in Youngstown, celebrated by the Rev. Peter Totleben, O.P., for Antoinette M. Tamburro, 83, who passed away peacefully Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth, Mercy Health Center in Boardman. Antoinette was born Sept. 30, 1934, in Youngstown, a daughter of Salvatore and Josephine Piesto Mosca; she was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Chaney High School, worked at City Asphalt and Paving as a secretary and was a longtime member at St. Dominic church. Antoinette married her husband, Leonard D. Tamburro, April 12, 1958, at St. Brendan Church; he passed away July 27, 2016. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Lenore (Frank) LaRubbio of Poland; two sons, Leonard Tamburro of Crete, Ind., and Samuel Tamburro of Fredrick, Md.; two brothers, Sam (Karen) Mosca of Youngstown, and Joseph (Nancy) Mosca of Canfield; two grandchildren, Frankie and Vinny LaRubbio; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her sister-in-law, JoAnn Mosca of Boardman. Besides her parents and husband, Antoinette was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Lori Tamburro, and brother John Mosca. Family and friends may call from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. on Monday at St. Dominic Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. in Boardman.
